Linda McCann

2024

Linda ran and played in the Jets team for many years and was instrumental to the foundations of what the Grimsby & District Senior Netball League is today and provided a platform in the mid 70s for netball in the Grimsby area. We know she had been looking forward to celebrating our 50th year with us and we will make it extra special in her memory. - Forever part of the netball family - Rest In Peace Linda

Janet Smith

2023

Janet Smith who sadly lost her battle with leukaemia on 20th June. Janet played in the Grimsby & District Senior Netball League for many years for the Body Studio with Christine Reveller and many more until the late 90's, before becoming a keen golfer. - Forever part of the netball family - Rest In Peace Janet

Kristal Jackson

2023

In Memory of an inspirational lady Kristal Jackson, Team Member of the DVT Seed Processing Netball Club (Thunder), one of the Founder Members of Fardel Ladies, AP Robinson, Macy's/Wheatsheaf.

Kristal was also a cricket player for Grimsby Cricket Club Ladies, loving wife to Paul, and proud mother of Ben & Oliver,. Sadly passed away on the morning of 21st January 2023 after a 3 year battle with Breast Cancer. Kristal, always smiling,

Annette Truman 2020

In Memory of a much loved Founder Member of our League Annette Truman (Gorringe). Annette was a committee member for many years, and trained many Umpires. Also a Swimming Coach, loving wife to Bernard, loving Mother sadly passed away on 25th October 2020.

Jo Laird-Reynolds

In Memory of a wonderful Lady Jo Laird-Reynolds (Jo Jo), beloved Nurse Practitioner, Chairperson of the Grimsby and District Netball League for 23 years, netball player for Jets, hockey player for Wintringham Ladies, loving wife to Jon, and proud mother of Dougie, Harrison and Callum, sadly passed away on the morning of 15th December 2018 after a very short and unexpected battle with cancer.

Karen Arnold

In Memory of a much loved Netballer Karen Arnold, Founder Member of Easy Plants Netball Team (Now Kaz's Crusaders. Sadly passed away in September 2016.
